Rockstar also explains that Lucia's mother dreamed of a better life for the family during their time in Liberty City.
Lucia shares that ambition, but she is no longer willing to depend on unrealistic hopes.

According to Rockstar, she ended up in Leonida Penitentiary after fighting for her family.
The company has not explained every circumstance surrounding the incident, including the precise charges, sentence, or events that led to her arrest.
Rockstar describes her release as the result of good fortune rather than revealing a detailed legal explanation.
